Rules & Regulations
  • Although catholic schools are meant primarily for Catholics, other children irrespective and creed may also be admitted.
  • Strict regularity implicit obedience courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of dress and are expected from every public must strictly conform to the regulations laid down in this regard.
  • The public are responsible to the school authorities not only for their in the school but also their general behavior outside. Any reported objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of public will make liable for disciplinary action.
  • Students whose parents do not comply to school rules regulations and policy and whose activities result in the defamation of the school or nay its personnel there or are liable to be expelled from the school.
  • The wearing of proper school uniform is mandatory. Violation of this rule is a sufficient reason for the expulsion of a student from school. No student will be allowed in the school premises without the prescribed from the school.
  • No electronic gadgets, books, newspapers or periodicals should be brought to the school without prior permission.
  • No collection for any purpose what so ever, is to be made without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • Gifts to the member of the staff or other expressions in their honor are not allowed except with the permission of the principal.
  • The date of birth of a student once entered will not be changed. The parent/ guardian will have to sign an undertaking. To the effects as per as Circular of the Inspectors of the schools.
  • Children must speak in English in the school Campus.
  • All public must possess a copy of the students Diary which is to be brought to school on all working days.
  • Late-comers and absentees from schools will not be admitted to class without a written application duly signed by the parents and principal.
  • Students are liable to be sent home in the absence of a written explanation from their parents or guardians for being late.
  • No leave of absence is granted except on written application from parents, and too only for genuine reasons. The school accepts no responsibility if a child is obliged to return during school hours for non – compliance of any of the rule contained in this diary. Mere sanding of any application is not sufficient: the sanction of leave must be obtained.
  • The public are not allowed to visit the Staff Room.
  • Fines may be imposed by the principal for irregularity, indiscipline of damage to the school property.
  • The public are not allowed to leave premises during the school hours without prior permission of the principal.
  • The school authorities may exercise their right or not re admitting pupils who fail to return within three days after the vacations. Parents and guardians are, therefore, particularly requested to cooperate with the school authorities, by sending their children back to school on the re-opening date, unless a written permission for extension of leave has previously been obtained. Such permission, however, will apply be granted save for very grave reasons.
  • In case of illness a medical certificate must be produced within three days of absence of the student. The school accepts the medical certificate of doctors in Government service, not below the rank of chief physician or Surgeon only. In case of doubt, the may insist on the child being examined by a Civil Surgeon or Doctor?
  • If a student continues to be absent for a month, without the sanction of leave by the principal, his/her name will be struck off the roll and in case of his/her rejoining, the re admission free will be changed.
  • Irregular attendance, frequent failure to obtain good conduct habitual of interest and or interest and prolonged or intermittent illness: behavior detrimental to the discipline and the moral tone of the school, repeated are failure in tests or examinations and insubordination are sufficient reason singly or together to expel a student guilty of such laxity or misdemeanor, without prior notice.
  • The school authorities do not hold themselves responsible for the student’s loss of money, books, articles of clothing, etc. the students are expected to look after their own belongings. The school is not responsible for any vehicle brought or used by the students.
  • Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the principal’s office.
  • Parents are strictly forbidden to interview their children or the teachers in the class without the permission of the principal. The second Saturday of each month may be considered as Parent Teacher Meeting when they can meet the teachers, to check the progress of their wards.
  • Students should not be taken away from the class by anybody without an application duly signed by the parent or guardian.
    • The Principal may punish a student in a manner suited to the offence, by expulsion from the institution without assigning any reason.
    • The Principal reserves the right to waive any of the rules contained in this diary without assigning any reason.
    • The interpretation of any rule in this diary rests solely and entirely with the Governing Body of this school. Its interpretation and decision is final.
    • For disobedience, to the explicit orders of the Principal, punishment laid down is dismissal without any prior warning. The same punishment is laid down for moral turpitude, writing on the walls and roads and defiance of the authorities.
